Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola anticipated that Erling Haaland will return from his knee injury "soon" and remains optimistic that the club's key striker might play against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday.

"I sense that [Haaland's return] will happen soon, as we trained yesterday and [he] exhibited some excellent movements." However, he stated that he wasn't prepared, and we must honor that. "Hopefully he can assist us in the upcoming matches." 

City travels to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday night, a troublesome venue where Guardiola has suffered defeats in six of his eight trips. When inquired about Haaland's availability for the upcoming trip, he responded: "Hopefully." 

"Clearly, we will feel his absence," Guardiola remarked. "Over the past nine years, we participated in numerous games without key players, and we managed to cope." "This season we've faced numerous injuries, yet we couldn't manage to cope."
