Ange Postecoglou appears to be in a dire situation, as the Europa League rescue seems improbable following Spurs’ absence against Chelsea, who ought to cover the costs for sending Jadon Sancho back to Manchester United...  Chelsea's lackluster display against Arsenal raised doubts about their desire to win, as Enzo Maresca's team seemingly let their London competitors secure a comfortable victory.  This poor performance resulted in Chelsea having the same points total as Manchester United since their pursuit of the Premier League title began to fade in mid-December.  During this period, Spurs have fared even worse since only Championship-bound Southampton, Leicester City, and Ipswich Town have garnered fewer points in 2025 than Postecoglou’s team in the Premier League.  Tottenham’s injury issues are a relevant factor, but even their makeshift squad has significantly underachieved and failed to show up in far too many matches this season.  Their injury concerns h...

Amad Diallo speaks out following shocking injury news from Man Utd.

•Amad likely sidelined for the remainder of the season due to an ankle injury.

•The 22-year-old has emerged as one of Manchester United's most dependable attacking options.

•Ivorian turns to social media to voice discontent over setback.

Manchester United striker Amad Diallo has promised to return even stronger after stating on social media that he will be sidelined due to injury "for a while."

The 22-year-old's success at Old Trafford has marked one of the few highlights in yet another particularly disheartening season for the 13-time Premier League champions.

Ruben Amorim stated in his press conference on Friday that United experienced several injury setbacks over the week, but he refrained from disclosing any names ahead of the matchup with Tottenham Hotspur.

It was later disclosed that Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte, and Toby Collyer had sustained various injuries, before reports emerged on Saturday afternoon that Amad might be sidelined for the remainder of the season due to an ankle ligament tear.

Using social media, the Ivorian informed United's fans that he will be sidelined for a while, but did not completely dismiss the possibility of returning this season.

"Deeply disheartened to have to send this message during such an important time of the season," Amad stated. Regrettably, I will be unavailable for a period due to an injury.

"I will return more powerful than ever!!" It's time to back the guys from afar. Plenty still at stake"

Amad has netted six goals in the Premier League this season, with crucial strikes against Manchester City and Liverpool, along with a hat-trick in the 3-1 comeback victory over Southampton, and he has also contributed six assists.

He has emerged as one of Amorim's key players, excelling in a forward position after joining the squad as a wing-back, but must now observe as the Portuguese head coach considers strategies to adjust the team's balance without him.

Since Mason Mount is still injured and unable to play, Marcus Rashford and Antony have left the team on loan. As a result, January acquisition Patrick Dorgu, who was primarily signed to play left wing-back for Lecce during the first half of the Serie A season, may be asked to fill in in a similar capacity.
