Arsenal's defender Gabriel Magalhaes will be sidelined for the remainder of the season due to a hamstring injury that necessitates surgery, confirmed the Premier League team.  The Gunners player suffered a hamstring injury in the first half of their 2-1 win against Fulham in the Premier League on Tuesday night.  Gabriel will now be absent for the remainder of the Premier League season, as Arsenal also strives for the Champions League title with a two-legged quarter-final against Real Madrid starting next week.  In response to the injury following the game, Arteta informed reporters: “Concerned because he always wants to stay on and he had to leave."  "He's uncertain about its size and what it truly is, but he sensed he couldn't go on."  When questioned about Gabriel's fitness for the Champions League match against Real Madrid next week, Arteta responded: “It depends; there’s a week ahead, but given how he usually is… challenging.”  Transfer specialist Fab...

Renato Veiga finalizes departure on loan from Chelsea.

Renato Veiga, a defender for Chelsea, has signed a loan deal with Juventus for the rest of 2024–2025.

After just one season with Swiss powerhouse Basel, the 21-year-old signed a seven-year contract and went to Stamford Bridge in July of last year.

Veiga has made 18 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions, most of which have been in the Conference League. However, Marc Cucurella's play has made it difficult for Veiga to get regular playing time in the Premier League.

The Portugal international was Enzo Maresca's backup left-back, but he was permitted to transfer to Turin to sign a loan deal with Juventus. Veiga will return to west London in the summer as part of the arrangement, which does not include a buyout option.

Due to Thiago Motta's numerous injury concerns, Veiga, who can also play center defense and defensive midfield and will wear the number 12 shirt, will have more opportunities to play first team football at the highest level.

Given that Maresca has shunned vice captain Ben Chilwell up to this point, Chelsea may now try to enter the transfer market themselves. The 21-cap England international is one of several players who have been told they can leave the team. He has only made one appearance for the team this season, in the Carabao Cup victory over League Two team Barrow.

On paper, the only player who might potentially replace Cucurella in the event that the Spaniard sustains an injury or needs to be rested is Chelsea's first-choice center-back Levi Colwill.
