Arsenal's defender Gabriel Magalhaes will be sidelined for the remainder of the season due to a hamstring injury that necessitates surgery, confirmed the Premier League team.  The Gunners player suffered a hamstring injury in the first half of their 2-1 win against Fulham in the Premier League on Tuesday night.  Gabriel will now be absent for the remainder of the Premier League season, as Arsenal also strives for the Champions League title with a two-legged quarter-final against Real Madrid starting next week.  In response to the injury following the game, Arteta informed reporters: “Concerned because he always wants to stay on and he had to leave."  "He's uncertain about its size and what it truly is, but he sensed he couldn't go on."  When questioned about Gabriel's fitness for the Champions League match against Real Madrid next week, Arteta responded: “It depends; there’s a week ahead, but given how he usually is… challenging.”  Transfer specialist Fab...

Real Madrid submits a new offer for Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool.

According to reports, Real Madrid will try again in the next few days to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold, a right-back for Liverpool.

When Alexander-Arnold's contract expires at the end of the current campaign, Madrid is certain that they will be able to sign him on a free transfer; however, because of their dismal performance, they have attempted to push that agreement forward to January.

According to MARCA, Madrid has begun to acknowledge that they will not be able to persuade the Reds to sell after an approach to Liverpool was turned down early in the window.

Following the team's loss to Barcelona in the Super Cup, club executives have agreed that it would be beneficial to pay to sign Alexander-Arnold now in order to halt the team's downward trend.

Madrid is prepared to make a deal to attempt to entice Liverpool to cash in on its homegrown star while they can, but they will still try to avoid overpaying for a player who they believe has already agreed to join them for free in the summer.

Madrid also wants to add a new center-back and left-back. Despite recent rumors that a contract extension for the Canada international is likely, there seems to still be optimism in talks with Alphonso Davies of Bayern Munich.
