Ange Postecoglou appears to be in a dire situation, as the Europa League rescue seems improbable following Spurs’ absence against Chelsea, who ought to cover the costs for sending Jadon Sancho back to Manchester United...  Chelsea's lackluster display against Arsenal raised doubts about their desire to win, as Enzo Maresca's team seemingly let their London competitors secure a comfortable victory.  This poor performance resulted in Chelsea having the same points total as Manchester United since their pursuit of the Premier League title began to fade in mid-December.  During this period, Spurs have fared even worse since only Championship-bound Southampton, Leicester City, and Ipswich Town have garnered fewer points in 2025 than Postecoglou’s team in the Premier League.  Tottenham’s injury issues are a relevant factor, but even their makeshift squad has significantly underachieved and failed to show up in far too many matches this season.  Their injury concerns h...

After a negotiation breakthrough, Antony is close to leaving Manchester United.

According to sources, Real Betis is almost certain to sign Antony, a winger for Manchester United, on loan for the rest of the season.

The Spanish team has made Antony their main target for the winter transfer window. They made a second bid earlier this week that was reportedly closer to meeting United's needs after their first attempt was turned down.

Fabrizio Romano claims that talks have progressed and that Antony will likely spend the rest of the season on loan at Betis. Despite competition from Greek team Olympiacos, the Brazilian is believed to be eager to resume his career in La Liga and has prioritized Betis' interest.

In a pact that excludes the possibility of a permanent transfer at the end of the current campaign, United will agree to pay a percentage of Antony's salary.

When questioned about the team's pursuit of Antony on Saturday, Betis sports director Manu Fajardo did not mince words when he acknowledged his desire to close a deal.

"A very attractive player in this market," Fajardo said to Movistar customers. "I can't really comment on his career. Antony is still a member of Manchester United.
