Chelsea lost to Ipswich Town 2-0 at Portman Road on Monday, extending their losing streak to three games.

Ipswich had the opportunity to grab the lead early thanks to a contentious penalty. According to the ruling, Liam Delap was tripped by Filip Jorgensen. Delap quickly recovered and left the area, giving the home team the edge to defend.

Ten minutes into the second half, former Chelsea player Omari Hutchinson gave Ipswich a second goal against the flow of play, freeing up the rest of the game to concentrate on irritating their pricey visitors. Chelsea has dropped to fourth place in the Premier League standings after two straight losses, and when they play Brentford on Wednesday, Arsenal will have the opportunity to extend their lead to four points.
